Welcome to Stepple Farm

Stories are merely the beginning.

At Stepple Farm, we believe that every story holds the power to inspire change, ignite emotions, and captivate minds.

Sounds lofty, but it's true.

There's the business side of things, where we share stories and experiences to spark action, provoke thought, and prompt change.

And then there are personal passions that manifest themselves in novels, radio shows and magazine columns about whatever takes our fancy.

It's all part of the same idea - sharing stories that transform and excite. Because when they stories catch fire, you're onto something rather special... Guaranteed.

A Little About Me

I'm Simon, Chief Cook & Bottle Washer at Stepple Farm Ltd.

You find me nestled in the shadow of the Shropshire Hills, surrounded by fields, farms and hills (I guess the clue was in the name). I’m incredibly fortunate to call this stunning landscape home - it's where I work, write, walk, dig and occasionally sleep.

I'm a lucky so and so.

But it's not all rural bliss. For over two decades, I’ve been at the forefront of business storytelling and consulting. This journey has led me to play my part in two successful ventures, Eyeful Presentations and Sales Engine, helping businesses tell their stories in a way that truly resonates.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple desire: to help people. This passion drove me to leap from a successful career in fintech to tackle the dreaded office epidemic - “Death by PowerPoint” - and Eyeful Presentations was born.  18 years later, Eyeful Presentations transitioned to Employee Ownership.

It was a very proud day...and the end of an era.

My deep love for writing has led to a few books along the way. My first, "The Presentation Lab: Learn The Formula Behind Powerful Presentations," was a hit, translated into six languages and still going strong after ten years. My latest, "Employee Ownership: A Guide to Transitioning from Boss to Benefactor," is a practical guide for those looking to pass the torch to their employees, just like I did at Eyeful.

My writing isn't all spreadsheets and strategy. My debut novel, "What is Love For?," is set to be released in early 2025. There are a couple more in the works, so watch this space.

When I’m not writing books, you’ll likely find me contributing to magazines on some of my other passions: gardening, walking, and the joys (and occasional challenges) of Puppy Fatherhood. You can dive into more of these musings on my Substack.

And finally, I’m also in the midst of launching my very own internet radio show. Regardless as to whether anyone tunes in or not, I’m having a blast planning, producing, and talking to myself between carefully chosen records. A man needs a hobby, right?

As I continue to explore new creative horizons, I’m excited to share these adventures with you—whether through business insights, romantic tales, or the simple joys of everyday life.
